Hello, wonderful people!
Wow, I feel like I am getting worse and worse at doing these consistently! Life is crazy right now- in a good way; I’ve been injury free for several weeks now- no accidental poisonings, no explosions, no slips on ice, no more sickness- and it's been wonderful. The preceding few weeks featured all of those wonderful occurrences and left me wondering if horrifying injuries every week were just going to be a regular thing from now on. Thankfully my streak is broken!
The combined time sink of my own injuries and my program’s junior core have left me with very little time to myself, but I am slowly clawing my way ahead of my deadlines and getting some spare time to myself again.
Having so little time has caused me to think a lot about how I spend it. What are the most important things I can do with the 30 minutes or so that I get to spend alone each day? How do I make the most of that time?
I am grateful that the most important things in life- connections with loved ones, family and friends, service, and creativity that blesses the lives of others- still have at least a bit of place in my life. Though my schedule is routinely pushed to the limit I am grateful that I have been able to keep the most important parts of my life afloat.
Connections matter! Don’t neglect them!
Thanks for reading! It’s late and life never stops, so this will be a short one. See you next time!
Best Wishes,
Ezra Larsen
